Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr P. Nyberg

This is a design-based course that teaches students how to develop an understanding of Design and Visual Communications through exploring and presenting design ideas across a range of different contexts. Throughout the year students will undertake design tasks that require them to use specific design-based tools and language including researching existing products and the designers behind them. Students will develop an understanding of design elements and how designers apply these to their work. The course places an emphasis on enhancing students’ visual literacy and inspiring a passion for the world of design. Students will produce a portfolio of their own design.
