Design and Visual Communication Level 2
Course Description
Students learn through spatial and product design projects. Creativity is encouraged through a selection of stimulating and relevant design contexts. High quality presentation and drawing skills are expected. Students will use design language to articulate the exploration and refinement of their ideas. Students will develop their learning and skills in freehand sketching, instrumental drawing and computer-aided design (CAD) software such as Sketchup. Students will produce their own portfolio of design work based upon given topics based around spatial design (architecture, interior and exterior along with landscaping) and product design.
