Mathematics with Statistics Level 3

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr K. Roberts

This academic course focuses on the acquisition of practical statistical knowledge and skills. Students are expected to carry out statistical investigations including background research, and write up a comprehensive report. As this course requires writing statistical reports, a good level of English is beneficial.

There are also probability distributions and probability theories that provide opportunities to apply knowledge or understanding of mathematical and statistical concepts and methods.  Situations will be set in real-life or statistical context

Please note: if you are choosing L3 Physics, you must also choose Level 3 Calculus. You will not be able to select any further courses if  you do not follow this restriction.
