Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mrs L. Crombie-Worsnop

The course at this level presupposes that the Level 1 course has been completed satisfactorily by students. Students will study a number of artistic models and will be introduced to the artistic philosophies and ideas relevant to the areas of study. A strong emphasis will be placed on the development of drawing skills and approaches to painting and printmaking. Students will produce bodies of work within Print Making or Painting to show understanding of art making methods and ideas with a real world context linking to artists with a professional practice.


Standards are chosen according to the area of specialisation: Print Making or Painting

Where a student wishes to take TWO of the above Level 2 Visual Art subjects, they need permission of Mrs Crombie
