Digital Technology is a progressive and constantly evolving subject area. This course provides an exciting opportunity for students to create, communicate and use information in a digital context. They will gain an excellent introduction to the world of information communication technology and develop information managment techniques, computer programming, coding and web development skills. Through this they will understand how computers work, how data represented, how computers store and manipulate data.
Recommended Prior Learning
Open entry although students must be able to read and understand written materials well as much of the course uses self paced learning materials. Students need to have access to a computer running Microsoft Office software at home as well as internet access in order to complete activities.
